Next month I have the honor of presenting a program called, “Fuel Up for Maximum Performance and Potential” supported by The Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association of Greater Philadelphia
I have been involved with this amazing group of women leaders in pharmaceuticals since 2012 and have learned so much from their programming. From negotiations, global fluency and leadership insight to their Fit To Lead program linking tri-athlete training to leadership.
On September 9th I will be leading an interactive workshop at Philadelphia University. It will include networking and a scrumptious and super healthy buffet dinner (my recipes included) followed by an interactive, enlightening presentation on “what is zapping your energy?” We will learn about scientific evidence based “real” fuel up strategies to maintain focus and energy needed in today’s competitive workplace.
Relating to successful corporate women, I understand that days can be stressful, full of deadlines & decisions, travel and on top of that -home responsibilities. I understand that more often than not we are subject to foods and meals that are in front of us- readily available. But I also know that we can have choices and we can change our habits in small ways in the quest for larger health gains through optimal nutrition.
It is my true belief that the way we eat affects our performance, focus and productivity. Our eating habits play just an important a role in our success at work and home as do the choices we make in the types of foods we eat. Falling short of energy, becoming hypoglycemic, eating the wrong foods at the wrong times, dehydration, eating on the run, overeating, under eating … eating too fast. These food habits and choices can make or break our negotiation focus, dictate our moods, and play havoc with our long term health and wellness.
Will you join me for this event on September 9th, 5:30pm at Philadelphia University ? I invite you to sign up on this link below. Find out what is zapping your energy. Learn about the relationship between productivity and nutrition and practice some real life behavior change strategies which will make a big difference to your energy levels. Hope to see you there!
